Primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective execution of all operational aspects of the business, from product creation to customer delivery.
Core Operational Areas:
- Supply Chain Management & Procurement: Manage the international freight and logistics of finished goods from China and Turkey to our partner distribution centres. This includes customs clearance, import duties, and transportation improvements.
- Distribution & Warehousing: Develop distribution centres in US and Europe to improve customer experience and efficiency. Oversee the operations of the distribution centres, including inventory management, order fulfilment processes, and returns processing. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and real-time visibility of inventory across all locations. Work closely with merchandising, sales, and marketing teams to develop accurate demand forecasts. Implement policies and procedures for inventory accuracy and managing obsolete stock.
- Order Processing Systems: Ensure the efficient functioning of order management systems and their integration with warehouse management systems.
- Shipping & Carrier Management: Manage relationships with shipping carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to customers. Negotiate rates and service level agreements.
- Returns & Reverse Logistics: Develop and manage an efficient returns process across all regions.
- Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control processes at various stages. Work with design and product development teams to establish and maintain quality standards.
- Strategic & Cross-Functional Responsibilities: Develop and implement operational strategies to support the company's growth plans. Build, lead, and mentor high-performing operations teams.
