Role Overview
Odd Muse is looking for a dedicated and organised Merchandiser to join our team.
As an Merchandiser, you will play a key role in ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time to maximise sales and profitability.
Working closely with Buying, Design, E-Commerce, Stores, and Logistics, you’ll support the planning, trading, and optimisation of product performance across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Management & Allocation
- Support weekly stock allocation to stores and warehouses to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor stock availability, replenishment needs, and sell-through performance.
- Identify low-stock and high-risk lines, recommending actions such as reorders, transfers, and markdowns.
- Trading & Reporting
- Produce weekly and monthly trade reports highlighting bestsellers, slow movers, risks, and opportunities.
- Track KPIs including sales, margin, availability, and stock holding.
- Support forecasting and demand planning to inform future buys and stock decisions.
- Range Planning & Product Lifecycle
- Assist in building and maintaining range plans across seasons.
- Manage critical paths to ensure timely product launches across stores and online.
- Support product set-ups, pricing, and attributes across internal systems.
- Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with Buying to understand range development and intake priorities.
- Collaborate with E-Commerce on product launches, stock availability, and promotional activations.
- Liaise with warehouse teams to troubleshoot stock issues, discrepancies, and fulfilment queries.
- Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate product and stock data across systems.
- Assist in preparing information for trade meetings, range reviews, and store briefings.
- Support ad-hoc merchandising projects, store openings, and business initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a merchandising or stock-focused role3+year in fashion
- Strong Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing fashion environment.
