The Role
This is a commercial-focused QS role with a strong emphasis on tendering, frameworks and public procurement. You will work closely with senior management to prepare and submit bids while developing your wider commercial skillset.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting public-sector tenders via procurement portals
- Completing PQQs, SQs and quality submissions
- Assisting with framework applications and mini-competitions
- Supporting pricing exercises and cost build-ups
- Liaising with operational teams for technical and commercial inputs
- Reviewing tender documents and identifying key risks
- Maintaining bid trackers, compliance matrices and feedback logs
About You
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (BSc / MSc)
- Strong written and numerical skills
- Some experience in public-sector tendering or framework bidding
- Understanding of construction procurement and commercial principles
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience using procurement portals (e.g. Proactis, In-Tend, Find a Tender)
- Previous placement, internship or graduate experience within construction
