Role Description The Site Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pudsey, responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning through handover. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating site activities, managing subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring progress against schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to specification. The role involves managing resources and logistics, conducting site inspections, addressing issues as they arise, and maintaining clear communication with clients, the internal project team, and stakeholders. The Site Project Manager will also track project documentation, support cost control, and promote compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating site activities.
- Expeditor and Expediting experience to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Inspection capabilities to verify work quality, safety standards, and adherence to specifications.
- Logistics Management skills for organizing labor, materials, and equipment efficiently.
- Previous experience in construction site management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality control.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficiency in basic project documentation and use of relevant software or digital tools.
- Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications in construction management or a related field are beneficial.
