Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid role for an experienced UK ACA or ACCA-qualified (or equivalent) Accountant, based primarily in Shoreditch with some flexibility to work from home. The role focuses on statutory accounts review, including reviewing working papers, trial balances, and draft financial statements prepared by more junior team members or outsourced providers. You will ensure that statutory accounts comply with UK GAAP, Companies Act requirements, and relevant disclosure standards, and provide clear review points and feedback to preparers. Day-to-day tasks include performing technical reviews, identifying accounting and disclosure issues, suggesting practical solutions, and finalising accounts for partner sign-off. You may also liaise directly with clients to clarify queries, manage timelines, and support year-end processes, while maintaining strong documentation and version control. The role offers flexibility in hours and scheduling, while still requiring reliability, timely communication, and occasional in-person collaboration in the Shoreditch office.

Qualifications
