We’re working with a long-established and highly respected law firm looking to recruit a Senior Legal Admin Assistant to join their Residential Property team in Wymondham. This is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning practice, supporting fee earners and ensuring the smooth running of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion.

The Role

We are seeking a confident and proactive Senior Legal Admin Assistant to support the Residential Property team. You will work closely with fee earners, providing essential administrative and client-facing support to ensure transactions progress efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors in a professional manner
  • Drafting and issuing sale contracts and standard conveyancing documentation
  • Ordering mortgage redemption figures and property searches
  • Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) forms and post-completion paperwork
  • Supporting the exchange and completion process
  • Handling incoming calls, taking messages, and responding to basic client queries
  • Providing quotes, onboarding clients, and supporting busy periods
  • Filing, scanning, and maintaining accurate client records in line with regulatory standards

About You

  • Knowledge of the conveyancing process is advantageous (full training provided)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident handling telephone queries and client interactions
  • Ability to prioritise and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Proactive, reliable, and professional approach
