Fantastic opportunity to join a leading Legal 500 firm in Chester. We’re working alongside a highly regarded North West law firm to recruit a Legal Secretary into their leading Private Client team. Based in their Chester office, this is a superb opportunity for someone with previous experience supporting private client fee earners and a strong background in legal secretarial work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Private Client team
  • Typing and formatting legal documents, including wills, LPAs, and probate paperwork
  • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Managing diaries, arranging meetings, and booking appointments
  • Opening, closing and archiving files in line with firm procedures
  • Liaising with clients and third parties in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assisting with billing processes and maintaining accurate file records

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience working as a legal secretary, ideally within private client law
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability and willingness to commute to Chester
