We're working with a well-established law firm looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Paralegal into its growing Dispute Resolution team in Chester. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with at least a year's Commercial litigation experience to develop their technical skills, work on a broad range of disputes, and gain hands-on exposure to high-quality contentious work alongside experienced lawyers.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting fee earners across a range of litigation and dispute resolution matters while ensuring compliance with the firm's quality and risk procedures
- Preparing court documents, bundles, and supporting documentation for proceedings
- Handling new client enquiries in line with team processes
- Attending client meetings, mediations, and court hearings to take detailed attendance notes and update the case management system (P4W)
- Acting as a point of contact in the absence of colleagues, managing incoming calls and escalating urgent matters where required
- Providing routine client updates and drafting correspondence to help progress matters efficiently
- Making routine enquiries and information requests to move cases forward proactively
- Preparing and sending both standard and bespoke correspondence, ensuring all enclosures and documentation are accurate and compliant

- At least 1 years’ experience within Corporate or Commercial Litigation, or Dispute Resolution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience using legal case management systems (P4W experience beneficial)
- A proactive approach and commitment to delivering excellent client care
