I’m currently working with a Top 30 international law firm that is looking to appoint a Legal Director to join its award-winning Real Estate Litigation team in Birmingham.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior Real Estate Litigation lawyer to join a highly regarded national practice, working alongside the wider Real Estate team and taking a leading role on complex, high-value commercial property disputes .
The role offers excellent exposure to high-quality work, sophisticated clients and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of an established and successful team.
The Role
You’ll manage a complex and varied caseload of commercial property disputes, including:
Opposed and unopposed lease renewals
Restrictive covenants
Break options
Dilapidations
Rights of way
Boundary disputes
Trespass and nuisance
Possession proceedings
Insolvency-related property disputes
Advising clients on strategic and commercially focused dispute resolution
You will also:
Work closely with clients to provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
Play an active role in the continued growth and development of the Real Estate Litigation practice
Supervise and mentor junior lawyers
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Support new business development and growth across existing and prospective clients
Work closely with the transactional Real Estate team and wider national practice
The Package
Salary: Up to £112,000
Bonus: Up to 20%
