Due to continued growth and an increasing volume of instructions, the firm is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor to join its busy Dispute Resolution team. The department handles a broad range of high-quality contentious property matters and offers an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to further develop their career within a supportive and ambitious environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of property litigation matters from inception through to resolution, including:
- Landlord and tenant disputes
- Lease renewals and dilapidations
- Possession and forfeiture proceedings
- Boundary and title disputes
- Easements and restrictive covenants
- Adverse possession claims
- Leasehold and freehold disputes
- Service charge and management company disputes
- Property-related contractual disputes
- Rights of light and other property-related claims
- Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and settlement negotiations
- Court proceedings, case management and advocacy
- Client relationship management and business development activities
The role offers exposure to a diverse client base, including private individuals, landlords, developers, investors, property companies, and commercial organisations.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with ideally 5+ years' PQE in Property Litigation or Dispute Resolution
- Proven ability to manage a property litigation caseload with appropriate supervision
- Strong technical knowledge of property law, civil procedure and dispute resolution processes
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused and commercially minded approach
- Ambitious and motivated to develop within a growing team
