A top 50 national law firm is seeking a Real Estate Disputes Solicitor to join its highly regarded Property Litigation team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in commercial and residential property disputes to join a well-established national team known for acting on complex and high-value real estate litigation matters. The team advises a broad client base including investors, developers, retailers, banks, corporate occupiers and insolvency practitioners on a wide range of contentious property matters. The successful candidate will gain exposure to high-quality work while benefiting from strong support, supervision and long-term progression opportunities within a collaborative national team.

You will manage your own caseload while supporting senior lawyers on larger and more complex matters across a broad range of real estate disputes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property litigation matters
  • Handling landlord and tenant disputes
  • Acting for investors, developers, retailers and corporate occupiers
  • Advising on insolvency-related property litigation and mortgage disputes
  • Working closely with Law of Property Act Receivers and lender clients
  • Attending hearings, mediations and settlement negotiations
  • Drafting pleadings, applications and litigation documentation
  • Supervising and supporting junior colleagues where appropriate
  • Supporting business development initiatives and team growth
  • Maintaining strong client relationships through commercially focused advice
