A top 50 national law firm is seeking a Real Estate Disputes Solicitor to join its highly regarded Property Litigation team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in commercial and residential property disputes to join a well-established national team known for acting on complex and high-value real estate litigation matters. The team advises a broad client base including investors, developers, retailers, banks, corporate occupiers and insolvency practitioners on a wide range of contentious property matters. You will manage your own caseload while supporting senior lawyers on larger and more complex matters across a broad range of real estate disputes. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property litigation matters
- Handling landlord and tenant disputes
- Acting for investors, developers, retailers and corporate occupiers
- Advising on insolvency-related property litigation and mortgage disputes
- Working closely with Law of Property Act Receivers and lender clients
- Attending hearings, mediations and settlement negotiations
- Drafting pleadings, applications and litigation documentation
- Supervising and supporting junior colleagues where appropriate
- Supporting business development initiatives and team growth
- Maintaining strong client relationships through commercially focused advice
