This is an opportunity for an experienced claimant PI Paralegal to join a specialist team where client care is particularly important, with responsibility for progressing matters efficiently and keeping clients informed throughout their claims.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and progress a caseload of Military and Police personal injury claims on behalf of claimants.
  • Assist with claims from initial instruction through to settlement and final completion.
  • Work on a range of personal injury matters, including claims involving serious and complex injuries.
  • Liaise with clients, ensuring they are kept informed of progress throughout their claim.
  • Communicate with clients clearly and sensitively, both in writing and over the telephone.
  • Liaise with medical experts, insurers, barristers and other third parties as required.
  • Assist with rehabilitation and other aspects of the client's claim where appropriate.
  • Prepare correspondence, documentation and evidence in support of claims.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and ensure key deadlines are met.
  • Prioritise workload effectively and progress matters in accordance with internal procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Support the wider team with business development and marketing initiatives where required.

What we need from you:

  • Previous experience working as a claimant Personal Injury Paralegal.
  • Ideally 2+ years' experience within PI.
  • Experience managing and progressing your own caseload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A client-focused approach and the ability to explain legal processes clearly.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
  • A commercial approach to case management and an understanding of costs and financial targets.

The Perks:

  • Salary up to £29,000 per annum.
  • Flexible and hybrid working options.
  • Performance-related bonus structure.
  • Professional development and ongoing training.
  • Support towards further legal qualifications, including SQE, LPC and CILEX where appropriate.
  • Mentoring and support from experienced members of the team.
  • Opportunity to develop specialist experience within Military and Police personal injury.
  • Equal opportunities and an inclusive working environment.
