The role will have a particular focus initially on establishing dependable learning systems, plans and course administration, while also taking responsibility for wider learning initiatives across the business.

It's a hands‑on position covering early careers, internal progression, leadership and professional skills development, compliance and regulatory learning, digital learning and the ongoing evaluation of development programmes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing learning plans and programmes across the firm
  • Supporting early careers programmes and internal progression
  • Designing and delivering leadership and professional skills development
  • Coordinating compliance, regulatory and digital learning
  • Managing course administration, bookings, communications and learner records

  • Providing general learning and development support across the firm as required

What we need from you:

  • Previous experience in a learning and development role, ideally within a professional services environment
  • Experience of designing, coordinating and delivering learning programmes
  • Good organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple programmes and deadlines
  • Confident working with managers and colleagues at different levels of an organisation
  • Comfortable facilitating training and presenting to groups
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate learning records
  • A practical approach to identifying learning needs and developing appropriate solutions
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning management or similar systems
  • Able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of an HR team
  • Experience of working within a regulated or professional environment would be useful

The perks:

  • Salary up to £53,000, depending on experience
  • Full-time, permanent role
  • Hybrid/agile working
  • Private health insurance
  • Group life assurance of up to 3x salary
  • Personal pension plan with employer contributions of up to 4%
  • Competitive holiday allowance with the option to buy and sell additional days
  • Discounted legal fees following one year's employment

  • Paid time each year for volunteering and CSR activities
  • Salary-sacrifice electric vehicle scheme

The firm places a strong emphasis on learning, development and internal progression, making this a good opportunity for an L&D professional who wants to take ownership of learning across an organisation rather than simply coordinate individual courses.
