We're currently working with a highly regarded law firm that is looking to appoint a senior property lawyer to take a leading role in the continued growth and development of its Property Department. While the formal title may suggest a senior fee-earning position, the reality is that this is a genuine leadership opportunity. They want a lawyer who can help shape the department, support junior lawyers, strengthen client relationships and play a key role in the firm's long-term growth strategy.
The Opportunity
The department advises a broad range of clients across commercial property matters and has established relationships with businesses, investors, developers and owner-managed companies. The successful candidate will be expected to take a leading role in developing the practice, helping to grow the client base and supporting the wider strategic objectives of the firm. What You'll Be Doing
- Leading on a broad range of commercial property transactions
- Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals and leasing matters
- Handling development, infrastructure and regeneration projects
- Advising on property finance and investment transactions
- Supporting private company acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Mentoring and developing junior lawyers within the team
- Building and strengthening referral networks and client relationships
- Working closely with senior management on the future direction of the department
