An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified - 2 PQE Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Shrewsbury.
This is an exciting opportunity for an NQ- 2PQE Solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative Commercial Litigation team, working alongside experienced lawyers on a varied and interesting caseload.
The Role
You will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of commercial litigation matters, gaining exposure to a variety of disputes and supporting clients throughout the litigation process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial Litigation matters
- Assisting with complex and high-value disputes
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, statements and other legal documentation
- Conducting legal research and providing clear, commercially focused advice
- Supporting clients throughout the litigation process
- Attending client meetings and contributing to case strategy
- Working closely with senior members of the team on more complex matters
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting the wider team with business development and networking activities
About You
The ideal candidate will be a Newly Qualified Solicitor- 2 PQE with a genuine interest in pursuing a career in Commercial Litigation.
You will ideally have:
- Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales
- Completed a training contract with exposure to Commercial Litigation, Dispute Resolution or a related area
- Strong academic and legal credentials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A commercial and client-focused approach
- The ambition to develop within a growing litigation practice
- The ability to work collaboratively while taking responsibility for your own matters
