Oculus Legal Group is a specialist legal search and recruitment firm, headquartered in Bristol, with a clear ambition; to become one of the most respected legal recruitment brands globally. We’re building a high-calibre, highly specialised team of consultants who want the freedom to deliver exceptional recruitment, backed by a business that values long-term relationships and real results.
We focus on quality, credibility, and trust (not volume) and as a Principal Consultant, you’ll have ownership of your desk, influence over business growth, and direct access to leadership. Your ideas will be heard, and your performance will be rewarded. We know recruitment is demanding, so we make a point of celebrating success with tangible rewards:
- Market leading commission scheme
- International incentive trips (Dublin, New York, Monaco, Chamonix and more)
- Regular team lunches and events
- And more…
About You: You’re an experienced recruitment consultant with a proven billing track record (ideally within legal recruitment). We’ve also seen outstanding success from consultants who’ve transitioned into legal recruitment from other specialist markets. If you’ve built credibility placing senior professionals in finance, technology, executive search, or other professional services, and you have the commercial instinct to learn a new sector, legal recruitment offers one of the most rewarding markets to build a desk in and we’ll back you to do it properly. Whilst we would ideally like candidates to be Bristol-based, we are happy to consider experienced legal recruiters working remotely.
You’ll value:
- Autonomy and accountability
- High-trust, relationship-led client interactions
- Working in a business that genuinely rewards performance
What We Offer:
- Clear, transparent career progression based on performance, behaviour, and expertise
- Highly competitive commission of up to 30%
- Ongoing coaching and training from industry-leading recruitment experts
- Flexible and hybrid working arrangements
If you’re looking for a role where your experience is valued, your impact is visible, and your ceiling isn’t capped by outdated structures, Oculus Legal Group could be your next move.
