An outstanding opportunity has become available to join one of the largest and most recognised Agricultural Property teams in the country. Our client has multiple offices across the UK hosting legal professionals recognised on a national basis.

If you are a 5PQE(+) Agricultural Property lawyer seeking an opportunity to further propel your career or an established Real Estate lawyer looking to move into Agricultural Property, opportunities do not come much finer.

The opportunity exists with an experienced, well-established Agricultural Property team led by senior figures well recognised in their field. The role will at times ensure the need to advise high net worth clients on significant private estates, as well as charitable and corporate bodies. Collaborating with colleagues in the Real Estate and Private Client teams, you will be given scope to demonstrate a broad range of real estate advice to clients with rural property.

  • Buying and selling agricultural estates.
  • Advising in relation to the sale of land for development – sales, options, promotion agreements.
  • Advising in relation to a wide range of green energy projects.
  • Advising on full range of landlord/tenant issues – in relation to agricultural, commercial and residential property.
  • Advising lenders in relation to loans to the owners of agricultural property.

What’s needed to be considered?

  • This role is open to qualified fee earners already operating in Agricultural Property or Real Estate lawyers keen to move into Agricultural Property.
  • Be a qualified Real Estate/Agricultural Property Associate of 6PQE (+).
  • Excellent drafting skills.
  • A talent for building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with rural clients.
  • Experience of acting for landowners on development projects or buying and selling land.
  • A willingness to guide and mentor junior team members.
  • A flair for business development.
  • Strong work ethic.
