We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Legal Assistant to join our busy property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in property law who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
You will provide essential administrative and legal support to fee earners, helping to ensure property transactions progress smoothly from instruction to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with residential and/or commercial property transactions
- Preparing and managing legal documents and correspondence
- Opening, maintaining, and closing client files in line with compliance procedures
- Conducting searches and liaising with local authorities and third parties
- Supporting with post-completion work, including registrations
- Communicating with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and lenders
- General administrative duties to support the property team
- Previous experience in a legal assistant or conveyancing role (preferred)
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- A professional, proactive, and team-oriented approach
