A leading national law firm is seeking a Head of Residential Property to join their thriving Midlands team in Solihull. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop a high-performing team while shaping the future of a busy, dynamic property practice.
The Role
As Head of Residential Property, you will lead a talented team of fee earners, providing strategic direction, coaching, and support. You will actively seek opportunities to grow the practice, manage budgets, monitor performance, and ensure your team delivers excellent client service at all times. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility while maintaining strong leadership and visibility across the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and supervise your team of fee earners
- Monitor performance against case handling, client demands, budgets, and targets
- Identify and drive opportunities for growth in fee-earning capacity
- Conduct appraisals, set objectives, and deliver one-to-ones to develop team performance
- Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members
- Coach and support fee earners to achieve excellent legal and people leadership standards
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality legal services and outstanding client experience
