Leading International Law Firm | Birmingham | Hybrid Working | £65,000–£78,000 + Bonus
We’re partnering with a top-tier international law firm in Birmingham to recruit a Residential Development Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive (NQ–4 PQE) to join their team on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).
This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside leading partners specialising in residential development, collaborating with some of the UK’s largest developers. You’ll benefit from a structured mentoring scheme, continuous training, and development, while gaining hands‑on experience in client management and working on an exciting, varied caseload.
Your Role:
You will work on a wide range of high‑value transactions, including:
- Acquisition and disposal of land and substantial real estate investment assets (freehold and leasehold), often via conditional contracts and including unregistered land.
- Advising on structuring development transactions and drafting heads of terms.
- Pre‑lettings, lettings, and sale and leaseback transactions.
- Real estate aspects of financing projects, including Certificates of Title.
- Drafting and negotiating associated property deeds and documents (e.g., agreements for lease/surrender, deeds of variation).
Chargeable hour target: 1,500, with bonus kicking in at 1,350 hours – highly reasonable and achievable.

- Strong technical knowledge of commercial and residential real estate law.
