Job Title: Real Estate Litigation Associate (1β4 PQE)
Location: Birmingham or Nottingham (Hybrid β 2 days per week in the office)
Salary: Β£60,000βΒ£70,000 + bonus (depending on experience)
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
A top 100 law firm is seeking a 1β4 PQE Real Estate Litigation Associate to join their Birmingham or Nottingham offices. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to work within a cohesive team that prioritises career development and mentoring of junior lawyers.
The role provides full administrative support, access to high-quality technical work, and the chance to build a broad client portfolio in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice to clients on property litigation matters with high technical competence and in a timely manner
- Assist with dispute resolution through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation, focusing on cost-effective solutions
- Support other areas of practice where relevant, e.g., Professional Indemnity
- Run and manage your own caseload
- Maintain and build client relationships alongside senior team members and partners
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, such as presenting seminars, writing copy and reports, and updating literature
- Deliver an exceptional client service
- Undertake other duties as required, commensurate with the level of the post
Requirements
- 1β4 PQE in Real Estate Litigation or related property disputes
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in property litigation matters
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated, organised, and a team player
