Job Description

Property Litigation Solicitor – Top 75 Law Firm

Location: Cambridge

Pattern: Hybrid Working

Salary: Β£50,000–£70,000

PQE: 1–4 Years

The Team

My client’s Property Litigation team is part of a high-profile, significant Dispute Resolution practice acting for a broad range of regional and national clients. They are now seeking an enthusiastic and driven Property Litigation Solicitor to join their Cambridge office, working alongside a supportive team of Associates, Directors, and Paralegals.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer to build their career within a Legal 500 ranked team, advising on a wide range of contentious property matters. You will work closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers, managing your own caseload and gaining exposure to high-value and complex disputes.

Your typical instructions will include:

  • Commercial landlord and tenant disputes
  • Development-related disputes, including rights to light, restrictive covenants, easements, and overage
  • Adverse possession and title issues
  • Trespass, nuisance, and property damage claims
  • Strategic risk management and dispute avoidance advice

You will benefit from clear progression pathways, excellent training, and the full support of the wider Dispute Resolution team, enabling you to develop strong client relationships and grow your expertise.

The Candidate

You will ideally be 1–4 years PQE with a solid grounding in Property Litigation. You should be proactive, commercially minded, and have a genuine interest in building trusted, long-term relationships with clients such as developers, landlords, investors, and local authorities.

You will be confident managing your own caseload under supervision, with strong drafting and negotiation skills, and will thrive in a collaborative, supportive environment.
