We are looking for a paralegal to join a specialist property litigation team, supporting high-value, complex commercial property disputes. Current matters include multi-million-pound High Court actions, easement and adverse possession claims, disrepair disputes, lease interpretation issues, and tenant default cases. Around two-thirds of work is for substantial commercial landlord clients. The role offers direct exposure to an experienced, directory-ranked property litigation partner, providing the chance to work closely on case strategy, witness statements, letters, and notices. There will be client contact and interaction with counsel, with limited document review and administrative tasks. Additional experience may be gained in related disputes such as insolvency or construction claims. This position qualifies as Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) for aspiring solicitors. Two years of QWE, plus passing SQE2, will enable direct qualification.
You will work predominantly with a highly regarded property litigation partner, benefiting from hands-on experience and mentorship. Additional exposure to other litigation matters within the firm may be offered depending on business needs.
This is a forward-thinking, award-winning Top 50 UK law firm, combining high-quality legal work with a flexible and supportive environment. Lawyers are free to focus on client work, supported by business services teams. The firm is ranked in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, with multiple awards.
The Candidate
- Strong interest in land law and a desire to specialise in property litigation, ideally commercial.
- Excellent academics: LPC with Commendation/Distinction, or SQE1 passed (top quintile preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, drive, efficiency, and people skills.
- At least 6 months’ relevant paralegal experience.
- Determined, hard-working, and eager to learn.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to gain high-quality property litigation experience in a supportive and ambitious firm.
