Are you an experienced Paralegal with a passion for private client law? Do you want to be part of a well-respected law firm where your work makes a real impact? We are looking for a dedicated Private Client Paralegal to join a dynamic team, working 2 days a week in the office.
In this role, you will support Solicitors and Legal Executives in delivering high-quality legal services to individuals and families. You will handle a range of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, and trusts.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing new client enquiries and opening case files
- Assisting in drafting legal documents such as Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trust Deeds, Probate applications, and Estate Accounts
- Regularly communicating with clients and third parties, providing updates and advice
- Conducting legal research and assisting with client queries
- Keeping client records accurate and up to date
- Providing general administrative support to fee earners
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Previous Paralegal experience in private client law, with knowledge of relevant legal processes and terminology (e.g., probate, wills, and trusts)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- A professional and empathetic approach when dealing with clients
