We’re working alongside a well-established regional law firm, recruiting a Legal Assistant to join their Wills, Trusts & Probate team. Based in their Frodsham office, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting fee earners on a variety of private client matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their legal career in a friendly and growing firm.

Base pay range
Salary up to £26,000 per annum
Responsibilities include:
- Opening new files, preparing Client Care letters and Terms of Business
- Preparing correspondence and legal documents using audio typing and word processing
- Drafting legal documents to support solicitors, including wills, powers of attorney, and probate forms
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments for fee earners
- Liaising with clients in person and by phone, ensuring a high standard of client care
- Preparing invoices, completion statements, and handling payment requests
- Maintaining accurate financial and file records, ensuring compliance with firm procedures
- Handling incoming and outgoing post, including enclosures and copying tasks
- Assisting colleagues and supporting the reception team when needed
- Participating in training and taking ownership of your own professional development
What we need from you:
- Excellent organisational skills with a strong eye for detail
- Ability to commute to Frodsham a minimum of 4 days a week
- Previous legal experience within private client
