We’re working with a well-respected firm who are looking to appoint a Legal Compliance Manager to join their growing Risk & Compliance function. The firm is looking to further strengthen its compliance offering and bring in an experienced professional who can support the continued development of robust internal controls, policies, and regulatory standards across the business.

The Role

You will take responsibility for supporting and enhancing the firm’s compliance framework, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. You’ll play a key role in ensuring regulatory obligations are met and maintained, particularly around AML and wider risk management.

  • Managing day-to-day AML and compliance processes across the firm
  • Reviewing and enhancing internal compliance frameworks and controls
  • Conducting risk assessments and supporting mitigation strategies
  • Advising fee earners and support teams on regulatory obligations
  • Monitoring changes in legislation and implementing required updates
  • Supporting audits, file reviews, and compliance reporting
  • Maintaining accurate compliance records and documentation
  • Acting as a key point of contact for compliance queries across the business

About You

  • Previous experience in a law firm, financial institution, or regulated compliance environment
  • Strong understanding of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations and processes
  • Solid knowledge of compliance frameworks, risk management, and regulatory obligations
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements in a practical, commercial way
  • Confident communicator, able to advise stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
