You'll be joining a specialist Self Build Property team in Exeter, handling a broad range of residential conveyancing matters while developing expertise in the growing self-build sector. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor looking to expand their knowledge and establish themselves within a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing:
- Managing your own caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion
- Handling a variety of transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, lease extensions, and new build matters
- Developing specialist knowledge in self-build remortgages and purchases
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other stakeholders
- Providing clear, practical legal advice and exceptional client service throughout the transaction process
- Working closely with experienced colleagues within a supportive and collaborative team environment
About you:
- Newly Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate (or due to qualify shortly)
- Solid residential property experience gained during training
- Ability to manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Strong understanding of residential conveyancing processes and property law
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- A proactive, ambitious, and team-focused approach
- Experience of self-build or new-build transactions would be advantageous but is not essential
