We’re working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm that is looking to recruit a Family Paralegal / Junior Fee Earner into its respected Private Family team in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid private family law experience who is looking to gain exposure to complex, high-value family matters involving substantial assets and sophisticated financial arrangements within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
- Supporting a busy and experienced team of Solicitors and Partners on a broad range of privately funded family law matters, with a particular focus on divorce and financial remedy proceedings involving high-net-worth individuals.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Solicitors and Partners on privately funded family law matters
- Assisting with divorce and financial remedy proceedings
- Preparing court bundles, disclosure documentation, and legal correspondence
- Managing client communication and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting on matters involving complex financial structures and high-value asset portfolios
- Drafting legal documents and carrying out legal research
- Liaising with Counsel, experts, courts, and third parties
- Assisting with case management and progressing matters from instruction through to conclusion
About You
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience exclusively within private family law
- Experience within a purely privately funded family law environment
- Exposure to divorce and financial remedy matters
- Experience supporting Solicitors on substantial or complex cases
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Able to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced team
- Strong attention to detail and client care skills
- Previous exposure to HNW/UHNW matters would be advantageous
