We’re working with a well-established and highly respected firm of property lawyers with a strong reputation across the region for delivering expert residential conveyancing and commercial property services. They are now looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy Residential Property team in Holt. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys fast-paced conveyancing work and wants to develop their career within a supportive, experienced, and client-focused property team.
The Role
- Supporting a team of experienced fee earners, playing a key role in the smooth progression of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting fee earners with a busy caseload of residential conveyancing matters
- Preparing legal documents, correspondence, and completion paperwork
- Opening, updating, and closing client files, including AML and compliance checks
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
- Managing diaries, deadlines, and key stages of transactions
- Maintaining accurate records on the case management system
- Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team
About You
- Previous experience in a Conveyancing Assistant or residential property support role
- Good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident, professional communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems
