An exciting opportunity for a Legal Support Team Leader to join a Top Tier Legal 500 firm as part of their Legal Support Services Team, with roles available across Telford, Shrewsbury, Oswestry, and Hereford. The Role:
- Provide operational leadership and line management to the Legal Support Services Team
- Oversee telephony, front of house client services, and legal administrative assistants
- Manage day-to-day operations, rotas, and workflow distribution
- Conduct regular 1-1 meetings and performance reviews
- Monitor KPIs, productivity, and service levels, taking action where required
- Support and manage disciplinary and HR processes where necessary
- Ensure accurate processing of legal documentation, dictations, and correspondence
- Oversee file opening, closures, archiving, and document management systems
- Maintain high standards across all administrative and practice management systems
- Support lawyers across the firm by ensuring an efficient and reliable support function
About you:
- Strong background in HR and general administration
- Confident leadership and delegation skills
- Ability to manage performance and support team development
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Legal experience is not essential – open to candidates from any industry background
