HR Advisor
Location: Bristol
Salary: Up to Β£40,000
We are recruiting for a leading commercial law firm that's looking for an HR Advisor with genuine, hands-on Employee Relations experience, not just someone who's handled the process side of things.
The firm has delivered 13 consecutive years of revenue and profit growth, works with almost 2,000 client organisations, and continues to invest in its people as it grows. They now want to strengthen their HR team with someone who can properly own ER casework.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and advising on ER matters, including disciplinary, capability and attendance cases
- Coaching and challenging managers on HR policy and best practice
- Managing maternity processes and supporting performance/pay review cycles
- Getting involved in a new HR system rollout and wider process improvement
- Contributing to EDI, wellbeing and sustainability initiatives
What they're looking for:
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working in a law firm or professional services
- Demonstrable, hands-on ER casework experience (essential)
- Strong relationship-building skills across all levels
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach
It's hybrid, genuinely flexible, and a firm with a strong reputation for career development
