A leading London law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Legal Personal Assistant into its highly regarded Commercial IP / IT / Data Protection team. This is a senior-level opportunity supporting a very high-profile partner (former Managing Partner level), with responsibility spanning diary and inbox management, billing, document production, and business development support.

The Role:

  • Full diary and inbox management, including proactive prioritisation and triage
  • Acting as gatekeeper for a senior partner with a demanding and fast-paced workload
  • Complex international travel arrangements and itinerary coordination
  • Producing, formatting, and proofreading high-quality legal documents
  • Managing prebills, e-billing processes, WIP tracking, and invoice administration
  • Supporting billing accuracy and liaising with finance and credit control teams
  • Updating CRM systems and recording BD activity (meetings, pitches, events, etc.)
  • Assisting with pitch documents, credentials, and marketing materials
  • Coordinating client events, meetings, and business development activity
  • Providing wider support to associates and team members as required
  • Maintaining accurate electronic files and case management systems

About You:

  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience as a Legal PA supporting senior partners
  • Strong experience in diary and inbox management at partner level
  • Proven exposure to legal billing processes (prebills and/or e-billing essential)
  • Excellent document production skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Highly proactive with a strong anticipatory working style
  • Confident managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and professional client-facing approach
  • Experience within IP, IT, commercial or data protection teams advantageous
  • Exposure to CRM systems (e.g. InterAction) and BD processes desirable
  • Experience in Macfarlanes, Magic Circle, Silver Circle or leading US firms preferred
