We are working with a well-regarded, solicitor-led independent law firm based in West London that is expanding its Commercial Property capability. The firm specialises in all aspects of commercial property work, with a client base that includes investors, landlords, tenants and owner-occupiers. The team prides itself on delivering clear, practical and commercially-focused advice on transactions and property management issues.
This role sits within a friendly and collaborative team that values quality, responsiveness and strong client service.
Key Responsibilities- You will be responsible for managing a varied and high-quality commercial property workload, including:
- Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
- Landlord & tenant work including lease negotiations, renewals and management issues
- Drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related documentation
- Advising clients on lettings and property management matters
- Providing property support in corporate due diligence projects
- Helping to resolve client queries and property issues through practical guidance
- Around 5 years’ PQE in commercial property law
- Strong technical ability and confident handling your own files
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and commercial awareness
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and externally with clients
- Comfortable engaging with clients and supporting business development activity
- A varied and hands-on commercial property caseload with real responsibility
