Commercial Legal Counsel 5PQE+ | London | Global Technology Innovator
Oculus Legal Group are exclusively partnered with a leading global technology innovator to appoint a Commercial solicitor into their high-performing legal team.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you'll join a collaborative legal function supporting a fast-paced, innovative organisation delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to a global client base.
The team are looking for a commercially minded lawyer with 5+ PQE, ideally with in-house experience. You'll have a proven track record advising on and negotiating complex commercial agreements within a technology-led environment, with experience across areas such as software, cloud services, managed services, technology consulting, digital transformation, enterprise platforms or business process outsourcing.
You'll be comfortable supporting strategic commercial transactions, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives, and partnering with senior stakeholders to help drive business growth. Experience negotiating from both the customer and supplier perspective will be highly advantageous.
We're particularly interested in lawyers who:
● Have a strong private practice background
● In-House experience
● Have negotiated sophisticated commercial contracts including SaaS agreements
● Can confidently advise on complex commercial risk and influence senior stakeholders.
● Take a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to legal issues.
● AI literate, an understanding of AI governance, data privacy and responsible AI use.
