We’re working with a well-established law firm looking to hire an experienced Legal Secretary into their busy Private Client team in Spalding. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous legal secretarial experience to join a supportive and friendly team environment, providing key administrative and secretarial support to fee earners across a varied Private Client caseload.

The Role

We are seeking a Legal Secretary to support the Private Client team with a range of administrative and secretarial duties. You will work closely with fee earners, ensuring the smooth running of files and efficient day-to-day support across the department.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing secretarial and administrative support to Private Client fee earners
  • Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
  • Managing diaries and arranging appointments
  • Handling client communication in a professional and courteous manner
  • File management and general administrative duties
  • Assisting with the preparation of wills, probate and related documentation
  • Using the firm’s case management system effectively

About You

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary (Private Client experience desirable)
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
  • Proactive, reliable and a strong team player
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems
