We’re working with a long-established, highly respected law firm with a strong reputation across the East Midlands who are looking to recruit a Conveyancing / Property Paralegal into their growing Land Development & New Homes team based in Newark. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys varied, fast-paced property work and wants to be involved in high-quality residential development and infrastructure projects within a well-structured, supportive team.
The Role
- Supporting a busy and collaborative team of Partners and Fee Earners, with exposure to a broad range of property development and conveyancing matters.
- Managing an ongoing caseload under supervision and delivering high levels of client service.
- Supporting Partners and Fee Earners with day-to-day transactional and development work.
- Assisting with business development activity and supporting the growth of the Land Development & New Homes department.
- Maintaining accurate billing records and assisting with financial management, including monies on account.
- Keeping detailed and up-to-date case notes and time recording.
- Working in line with strict compliance, risk, and quality standards.
- Staying up to date with developments in property law and conveyancing practice.
About You
- Experience within conveyancing, residential property, or property-related legal work.
- Confident managing workload in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Client-focused with strong communication skills.
- Able to prioritise effectively and manage competing deadlines.
- Positive, proactive, and keen to develop within a specialist property team.
