Residential Property Conveyancer

Lewes Hybrid £65,000-£80,000 + 15% bonus

A well-established Legal 500 firm is looking to strengthen its Residential Property team in Lewes due to continued growth and an extremely busy pipeline of work.

The team is currently at capacity and having to turn work away, so this is a genuine opportunity to join a successful department where you will have an immediate caseload and plenty of work to get stuck into.

The firm is open to candidates at a range of levels, including Conveyancer, Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, Associate or Senior Associate.

The role

You will:

  • Manage your own caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Handle matters autonomously, taking full ownership of your workload.
  • Work closely with an established and experienced Residential Property team.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Manage a busy workload while maintaining a high level of client service.
  • Contribute to a supportive team where you are trusted to get on with your work.

What's on offer?

  • £65,000-£80,000, depending on experience.
  • 15% bonus on billings above target.
  • Hybrid working - 1-2 days per week in the office.
  • A genuinely busy and established Residential Property department.
  • Supportive management without a heavily micromanaged environment.
  • Strong focus on employee wellbeing and mental health.
  • Access to a qualified mental health specialist.
  • Employee recognition schemes, including Shine Awards and peer-to-peer recognition.
  • Regular charity initiatives and team events.
  • Dedicated employee lounge and spaces designed to encourage proper breaks.
  • Genuine long-term progression, with the wider structure offering progression through to Legal Director.

If you're an experienced Residential Property professional who wants autonomy, a strong pipeline of work and the flexibility to work predominantly from home, I'd be happy to have a confidential conversation.
