Support with training and career development
We’re working with a respected law firm looking for a PA to support their Tax and Estate Planning team. You’ll provide essential secretarial and organisational support to fee earners, helping to keep their schedules, documents, and communications on track.
You’ll work closely with fee earners and the Central Processes Team, managing diaries, case management systems, document preparation, and client communications to ensure smooth and efficient team operations.
- Manage fee earners’ diaries and task lists, ensuring deadlines and appointments are met
- Type and format documents using digital dictation and case management systems
- Create and maintain client files and contacts in the firm’s database accurately
- Prepare correspondence and documentation for signature and distribution
- Attend team meetings and take minutes
- Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and other contacts by phone and email
- Arrange meetings, travel, accommodation, and refreshments
- Administer file opening/closing, billing records, and archiving tasks
- Maintain electronic filing and scanning in line with firm procedures
- Manage the Admin team within Tax & Estate Planning
- Ensure compliance with data protection, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements
- Support other fee earners and team coordinators as needed
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Legal PA/Secretary/EA within a Private Client Team
- Strong Microsoft Word skills, including advanced formatting and tracking
- Audio typing qualification or relevant experience
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive team player with a professional and helpful manner
- Smart appearance and strong communication skills
