Legal Director – Commercial Property / Development | Birmingham City Centre | £90,000–£120,000 + Bonus
Are you an experienced Commercial Property lawyer looking for a Legal Director opportunity with genuine scope to build your profile and progress further?
I’m currently working with a leading national law firm looking to appoint a Legal Director within its Commercial Property / Real Estate team in Birmingham.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior lawyer looking for a role combining high-quality development work with a strong focus on Landlord & Tenant, asset management and portfolio management.
You’ll be joining an established national Real Estate practice with an impressive client base and a strong pipeline of work already in place, while having the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of the Birmingham offering.
The role would particularly suit someone who enjoys maintaining long-term relationships with commercial property clients and acting as a trusted adviser across their wider property portfolios, rather than focusing purely on transactional acquisitions and disposals.
The role will include:
- Advising on a broad range of commercial property and development transactions
- Acting for developers, investors, landlords, occupiers and corporate clients
- Advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial and development property
- Handling a significant range of Landlord & Tenant matters, including leases, agreements for lease, renewals, licences and variations
- Advising clients on the ongoing asset management of commercial property portfolios
- Supporting clients with strategic portfolio management, including acquisitions, disposals, restructuring and occupational matters
- Advising on development projects from initial site acquisition through to development and subsequent letting or disposal
- Managing complex and high-value transactions
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and professional intermediaries
- Supervising and mentoring more junior members of the team
- Playing an active role in business development, networking and the continued growth of the Birmingham Real Estate practice
- Working collaboratively with Real Estate specialists across the firm’s national network
This is a senior appointment with the opportunity to have genuine influence over the future development of the team.
You’ll have the backing of the wider Partnership and dedicated Business Development support, providing the platform to grow existing relationships, develop new opportunities and continue building your own profile within the Birmingham property market.
