I’m currently working with a Top 30 international law firm that is looking to appoint a Legal Director to join its award-winning Real Estate Litigation team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior Real Estate Litigation lawyer to join a highly regarded national practice, working alongside the wider Real Estate team and taking a leading role on complex, high-value commercial property disputes.
The role offers excellent exposure to high-quality work, sophisticated clients and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of an established and successful team.
The Role
- You’ll manage a complex and varied caseload of commercial property disputes, including:
- Opposed and unopposed lease renewals
- Restrictive covenants
- Break options
- Dilapidations
- Rights of way
- Boundary disputes
- Trespass and nuisance
- Possession proceedings
- Insolvency-related property disputes
- Advising clients on strategic and commercially focused dispute resolution
You will also:
- Work closely with clients to provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
- Play an active role in the continued growth and development of the Real Estate Litigation practice
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support new business development and growth across existing and prospective clients
- Work closely with the transactional Real Estate team and wider national practice
The Package
- Salary: Up to £112,000
- Bonus: Up to 20%
- Hybrid working available
