Legal Cashier – Law Firm
Seeking an experienced Legal Cashier with at least 2 years of client-side experience in a law firm. The role involves managing cashiering functions in compliance with SRA Account Rules and firm policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Banking & Reconciliation : Process client/business receipts & payments, reconcile accounts, manage electronic transactions (CHAPS, BACs, FPC).
- Client Funds Management : Monitor transactions, complete CHAPS payments, handle foreign payments, process client-to-business transfers.
- Financial Administration : Apply client interest, manage petty cash, process cheques, maintain ledgers, run reports.
- Compliance & Support : Ensure adherence to SRA rules, assist Finance Manager, handle internal/external queries.
Requirements:
- Essential : 2+ years as a Legal Cashier, knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules , numeracy, accuracy, and MS Office skills.
