We're working with an established and highly regarded law firm looking to recruit a Private Client Paralegal to join their experienced team in King's Lynn. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Private Client experience to join a supportive and professional environment, assisting fee earners across a broad range of matters including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and Trusts.
The Role
We are seeking a Private Client Paralegal to provide essential support to the wider team, helping to ensure matters progress smoothly while providing clients with a high standard of service throughout.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting fee earners with the day-to-day management of a varied Private Client caseload
- Assisting with Wills, Probate and Estate Administration matters from instruction through to completion
- Assisting with the administration of estates, including gathering information and preparing estate accounts
- Preparing and drafting legal documents, correspondence and other relevant documentation
- Conducting legal and procedural research where required
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, executors, financial institutions and other third parties
- Handling client enquiries and providing professional support via telephone, email and in person
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and ensuring deadlines are met
- Assisting with client updates and ensuring matters progress efficiently
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Supporting the wider Private Client team with general administrative and legal duties
About You
- Previous experience within a Private Client legal environment
- Experience assisting with Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and/or Trust matters
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A professional and client-focused approach
- Confidence liaising with clients and third parties
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines
- Genuine interest in developing a long-term career within Private Client
- Experience using legal case management systems is advantageous.
