We're working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm looking to recruit an experienced General Litigation Paralegal into their Litigation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organised legal professional to utilise existing litigation experience while supporting fee earners across a broad range of contentious matters. The Role
We are seeking a General Litigation Paralegal to provide comprehensive support to the Litigation team. You will assist with the progression of matters from initial instruction through to resolution, helping to ensure cases are handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting fee earners with litigation matters and day-to-day case management
- Assisting with the progression of cases from instruction through to resolution
- Drafting legal correspondence, witness statements, court forms, and other legal documentation
- Conducting legal research and preparing supporting documentation
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, barristers, courts, and third parties
- Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures
- Monitoring key dates, deadlines, and case progression
- Managing competing priorities within a busy litigation environment
- Delivering high standards of client care and professional service
- Assisting with administrative and legal support across the Litigation department
- Working collaboratively with colleagues while managing responsibilities independently
- Supporting the efficient operation of the team and contributing to successful case outcomes
About You
- Previous experience within a law firm in a legal support or paralegal capacity
- Experience supporting litigation matters and case progression
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines
- Experience drafting legal documentation and correspondence
- Strong client care and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and delivering exceptional client service
