A leading national organisation is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor, Legal Executive to join its highly regarded employment law team as a Senior Legal Adviser. This is an excellent opportunity for an employment lawyer who enjoys combining high-quality legal work with genuine client relationships, while benefiting from the flexibility of a predominantly home-based role.
Working with a diverse portfolio of businesses, you will provide commercially focused employment law advice, represent clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings and deliver practical solutions to employers across a broad range of workplace issues.
The role
- Advise clients on the full spectrum of employment law and employee relations matters, including:
- Providing practical employment law advice by telephone, video, email and in person
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims from initial instruction through to conclusion
- Conducting Employment Tribunal advocacy (training available if required)
- Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, policies, handbooks and HR documentation
- Delivering employment law seminars and client training sessions
- Building long-term relationships with a portfolio of employer clients
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional consultancy services where appropriate
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across legal, HR and consultancy teams
