Are you an experienced Family Law Solicitor ready to step into a leadership role and make your mark? Our client, a well-established firm with 15+ offices nationwide specialising in family law, is expanding and launching a new office in the Cirencester area. They are seeking a senior solicitor to take on a dual role - managing a high-quality caseload while leading the setup, development, and ongoing success of the new branch as Branch Manager.
The Role
This is a unique opportunity combining legal practice with leadership and business development. As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and growing the new office while maintaining a high-quality caseload of family law matters. You will play a central role in shaping the office’s culture, reputation, and commercial success from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy, private children work, and domestic abuse cases
- Lead the setup and development of the new branch office
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a growing team of legal and support staff
- Drive business development and build strong local relationships
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and firm-wide standards
- Contribute to the strategic growth and profitability of the office
About You
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years PQE in Family Law
- Proven experience handling a broad range of privately funded and/or legal aid family matters
- Strong leadership or supervisory experience (or clear readiness to step into a leadership role)
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
- Organised, ambitious, and capable of working autonomously
