The Opportunity

You will join the firm’s Personal Injury team, handling a varied caseload of pre-litigation and litigated claims. The role offers responsibility appropriate to experience, with supervision and support from senior solicitors and partners, and clear scope for development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury claims from inception to settlement or proof
  • Handle pre-litigation and litigated matters in the Sheriff Court and/or Court of Session
  • Draft pleadings, correspondence, and legal documentation
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients’ interests effectively
  • Liaise with clients, medical experts, insurers, and counsel
  • Ensure compliance with procedural rules, timescales, and case management standards

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor in Scotland (NQ–Senior Associate level considered)
  • Experience in personal injury litigation or pre-litigation claims
  • Strong technical, organisational, and negotiation skills
  • Confident client-facing manner with a focus on service and outcomes
  • Ability to manage workload independently while contributing to a team
