Job Description

Family Solicitor (3+ PQE)

Location: Predominantly Remote (fortnightly attendance at South London office)

Firm: Legal 500 ranked practice

Oculus Legal Group are working with a Legal 500 ranked firm seeking to appoint a Family Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE to join a established and well-regarded family department.

The role is predominantly remote, with attendance at a South London office required once every fortnight (or more if local).

Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of private family law matters
  • Advising clients on divorce and separation
  • Conducting financial remedy proceedings
  • Acting in private children matters
  • Advising on cohabitation disputes and pre-/post-nuptial agreements
  • Maintaining a high standard of client care throughout

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
  • 3+ years’ post-qualification experience in family law
  • Experience of running private family matters independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a predominantly remote setting
  • Professional, pragmatic and client-focused approach
