Job Description
Family Solicitor (3+ PQE)
Location: Predominantly Remote (fortnightly attendance at South London office)
Firm: Legal 500 ranked practice
Oculus Legal Group are working with a Legal 500 ranked firm seeking to appoint a Family Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE to join a established and well-regarded family department.
The role is predominantly remote, with attendance at a South London office required once every fortnight (or more if local).
Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of private family law matters
- Advising clients on divorce and separation
- Conducting financial remedy proceedings
- Acting in private children matters
- Advising on cohabitation disputes and pre-/post-nuptial agreements
- Maintaining a high standard of client care throughout
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
- 3+ years’ post-qualification experience in family law
- Experience of running private family matters independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a predominantly remote setting
- Professional, pragmatic and client-focused approach
