A growing law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Legal Assistant / Secretary to join its Family Law team in Whitefield. This is a varied support role working closely with fee earners, helping to ensure matters progress smoothly while delivering a high standard of client care and administrative support. It would suit someone with previous family law support experience who is comfortable working in a busy office environment.
The Role
- Dealing with enquiries from clients, solicitors, and other third parties
- Providing regular client updates and monitoring matter progression
- Opening and closing files on the case management system in line with AML, quality standards, and Solicitors Regulation Authority regulations
- Assisting with drafting basic correspondence, forms, and legal documents under supervision
- Preparing and submitting forms and legal documents to HM Courts
