Senior Employment Solicitor – 6+ PQE | Contentious Focus | Remote with London Travel (Up to 2 Days/Month) £85,000 for 4 days a week. We are seeking a talented Employment Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join our clients busy and well-regarded employment law team. This is a permanent role with a primarily remote working arrangement , requiring attendance in our London office up to 2 days per month for client meetings. The role offers a high-quality caseload with a strong focus on contentious employment matters , particularly those involving discrimination , equality , and tribunal litigation . You will be advising a broad client base, including senior executives and corporate clients across industries such as technology , transport , and marketing . Key Responsibilities: Manage a busy caseload of contentious employment matters from start to finish Draft and respond to tribunal claims, prepare witness statements, and manage disclosure Provide strategic legal advice to clients with minimal supervision Attend client meetings and contribute to business development activities (Optional) Undertake advocacy, where experience permits Candidate Requirements: A minimum of 6 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in employment law Solid background in handling contentious work, ideally with discrimination/equality expertise Confident in a client-facing role and able to build strong, trusted relationships A proactive and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills Able to work independently, remotely, and with strong attention to detail Experience must have been gained at a leading employment or City practice Candidates based outside of London must have trained and worked at a top-tier regional or City firm to be considered This is an excellent opportunity for a senior solicitor who is looking for a high-calibre, flexible role with long-term progression in a supportive and agile environment.
