Oculus are working alongside a Top 50 UK law firm that, following significant investment into its Leamington Spa office, is entering an exciting new phase of growth and is now looking to appoint a Head of Employment / Employment Partner to lead and develop its local Employment offering. The focus is on finding an experienced leader who can provide direction, inspire a team and help shape the next chapter of the practice. You will play a key role in driving the growth of the Employment offering across the Midlands whilst benefiting from the support, expertise and resources of a substantial national team.
The role will involve:
- Advising a broad range of employer clients on contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including Employment Tribunal litigation and HR advisory work
- Acting for organisations across sectors including education, healthcare, defence, technology and higher education
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while supporting business development initiatives across the region
- Leading, mentoring and developing junior lawyers whilst working closely with colleagues across Employment, HR and Immigration
The successful candidate will:
- Be an experienced Employment Solicitor with strong respondent-side experience and a genuine interest in the advisory and HR aspects of employment law
- Have leadership experience, strong commercial awareness and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients
- Be excited by the opportunity to take a leading role in the continued growth and development of the practice
